Category:

JuvedermVoluma is an injectable dermal filler designed to correct facial contours as well as the shape of cheeks and cheekbones. The rejuvenation effect is reached by adding the missing volume.

Leading dermatologists and cosmetologists recommend using JuvedermVoluma with Lidocaine for patients who have become thin after rapid weight loss or facial fat loss. The remedy causes deep and instant rejuvenating effect making cheeks and cheekbones look younger and healthier.

The main active substance here is Hyaluronic Acid – the element that exists in the human body and influences the natural collagen production and skin elasticity. By filling the skin with Hyaluronic Acid, doctors eliminate little and deep wrinkles, moisturize the skin, activate metabolic processes in tissues.

JuvedermVoluma is manufactured by the leading American pharmaceutical company Allergan (Botox is also produced by them.) They apply Vycross technology in Juvederm production. Another ingredient is Lidocaine – the anesthetic drug providing smooth and painless procedure. The drug is administered without any pain making the process comfortable for doctors and patients. The last constituent is Phosphate Buffer that allows not only to reduce puffiness after the procedure but also provides a more prolonged result comparing with other HA-based dermal fillers. Although the effect is long it’s temporal. Hyaluronic Acid is a biodegradable substance that eliminates from the body after a while. As a rule, this term is about 18 months.
